We Are Paper Moon
Live swing band based in Bristol & the South West
Paper Moon is a swinging ensemble bursting with energetic swing, effortless repartee and classic tunes from the swing era.
Fans of vibrant dance floors, the band was created with Lindy Hop and swing dancers in mind, whilst offering rhythms that would convince even the most determined of non-dancers to shake a toe or two... possibly even a leg.
The band often adjusts its sound and set up: playing as a trio to suit relaxed, cosy events or swapping drums for guitar for a seated concert of jazz and conversation.

Educational music workshops for KS1 & KS2 children
It all started when…
A primary school in the Midlands heard we were playing in their town and asked us to perform for them before our gig.
From there we teamed up with The Bristol International Jazz & Blues Festival (bristoljazzandbluesfest.com) and over the last 3 years have performed to thousands of children in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire areas.
Our aim is to inspire, excite and educate children about making live music and how much joy the process can bring to yourself and others around you.
